27 April 1950 - Luiz Iglezias & J.Maia's 'Na Copa do Mundo' (At FIFA's World Cup) opens at Teatro João Caetano on 5 May 1950. Starring Marion who was at the peak of her career as a all-round entertainer, José Vasconcelos, Saluquia,  Zilka Salaberry, Colé and Walter D'Avila.

a 17-year-old Guilherme Figueiredo (*13 February 1915, in Campinas-SP + 24 May 1997, in Rio)  with his father Colonel Euclydes Figueired in 1932. His younger brother João would become the last of military-presidents Brazil had from 1964 through to 1985.
